Enzymes are cleaving the substrate. If the substrate is DNA they are called restriction enzymes. Activating enzymes will cut off the domain that is biological active to become functional.
Pyrophosphate Assay Reagent for RNAP (enzyme not included) includes 3200 µl of Buffer RP, 310 µl of 100 x NTP mix, 310 µl of 100 x DNA, 32 µl of 1000 x pyrophosphatase and 42 ml of dye for 100 assays of E. coli RNA polymerase reactions in a 384-well assay format. The assay kit includes all reagents except the enzyme.
